In my defense, I hadn’t realised it had been so long since I last updated this blog on where I was. I’ve given up guessing on the amount of time taken. People who can accurately gauge this sort of thing are inhuman. Since it’s been a while, I should probably remind everyone that I got the pattern from here, and that it is done in 105 different DMC colours on 18 count aida, and will be 72.24cm x 127 cm when finished. And my god, do I intend to see it finished even if it kills me.

This is still on my list of things to stitch.

DIY No Sew Fringe Scarf Kimono Tutorial from A Pair & A Spare. No sew but you have to use around 50 prong studs to secure the fringe through layers of material. You can buy this kit for $44 (not including shipping).

If you are going to sew a fringed kimono I’d suggest #3 - less brutal on the fingers and quicker. But it comes down to which look you like better. Mini Kimono Roundup here.
